I first got the word from some friends in Texas. Things look pretty bad there... the Austin survivors were consolidating in some sort of military bunker... but I guess that didn't work out.
Still, 2000 miles is a long way, even for an airborne pathogen, and I was feeling pretty safe...Until I got the word from Seattle.
And as if on cue, I look out the window to see one shambling down Jarret St.
I've got the doors and windows locked, but it's not like we have survival supplies. Nobody else is home. Phones are out, but the internet seems to be holding up.
I plan to sit back, wait, watch, and blog like it's the end of the world.
