This is mostly for Van's benefit, i guess.
From the Tao, and the Tao
From the Tao, and the Tao

The enlightened possess understanding So profound they can not be understood. Because they cannot be understood I can only describe their appearance: | The Sages of old were profound and knew the ways of subtlety and discernment. Their wisdom is beyond our comprehension. Because their knowledge was so far superior I can only give a poor description. |
Cautious as one crossing thin ice, Undecided as one surrounded by danger, Modest as one who is a guest, Unbounded as melting ice, Genuine as unshaped wood, Broad as a valley, Seamless as muddy water. | They were careful as someone crossing an frozen stream in winter. Alert as if surrounded on all sides by the enemy. Courteous as a guest. Fluid as melting ice. Whole as an uncarved block of wood. Receptive as a valley. Turbid as muddied water. |
Who stills the water that the mud may settle, Who seeks to stop that he may travel on, Who desires less than may transpire, Decays, but will not renew. | Who can be still until their mud settles and the water is cleared by itself? Can you remain tranquil until right action occurs by itself? |
The Master doesn't seek fulfillment. For only those who are not full are able to be used which brings the feeling of completeness. |

this is your life
it doesn't get any better than this.
I say let me never be complete. I say may I never be content.
you thought you had it all figured out.
I say may I never be complete. I say evolve and let the chips fall where they may.
if you don't fall all the way, you cant be saved. it's only after you've lost everything that you are free to do anything.
Nothing is static. Everything is changing. Everything is falling apart. There are only two constants in this life; chaos and pandemonium.

I have solved my hardware problems that have prevented internet bliss!
There's been a conversation going on
Master: (booming) What number would you like?
Card A: (confident) I will have THREE.
Master: And you, what number would you like?
Card B: (self-assured) I will have TEN.
Master: And you, as well, what number?
Card C: (timidly) Well, do you think I could have three?
Master: (Annoyed) It's been taken.
Card C: Er... then how about ten?
Master: Taken, too. I'm afraid I don't have time for this, move along.
Card C: But wait! I....!
So C is doesn't work, not because it is broken, but because the first cards are bullies. I download a monkey that makes A ask for 'eleven', and all is well.
