The last book I borrowed was Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World‡ by Haruki Murakami
The last book I was given was The Life of Pi by Yann Martel
The last book I bought was The Confusion (The Baroque Cycle, Vol. 2) by Neal Stephenson
‡whoops. the first time i typed "World", frued slipped in my last name instead!
3. The last book I read?
I re'd Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (by Douglas Adams) in a web browser a couple weeks ago. Oh! I almost forgot, I also re'd In Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan the same way
The last real book I finished was The Confusion
I have more recently re'd 15 of 23 short stories in Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges
Also recently, I set down without finishing:
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
Ecotopia by Ernest Callenbach
Always Coming Home by Ursela K. LeGuin

Go read all (both?) of Cory Doctorow's novels. He publishes them as Creative Commons, so you can download them if you can't be bothered to visit the bookstore.
