I didn't know the sky could be blue in the winter! It's so bright-- the whole city's albedo's been cranked way up.

It was so nice out, that riding the bus to work sounded almost fun. I find that I'm the only person who thought so-- no co-workers, no emails from co-workers.
But it's warm and quiet (except for the ghastly howling wind) here, so I'm not entirely sure I want to leave

I haven't felt this good in months.

also, I have come to find that I think of "snow" as a thing that you're expected to experience for the first time in your mid-twenties.

Congratulations on feeling good. I love the feeling of coming out of a funk, especially if I hadn't been aware I was in a funk.

Fortunately, there's a lot you can do about S.A.D. I suspect none of it is a substitute for actual sunlight, but each and every person I know who says the winter makes them depressed also says the light boxes help.
